The Cube contains an accurate temperature / humidity sensor, a non-dispersive infra-red (NDIR) sensor to measure C02 levels, and a separate unit to detect Particulate Matter (PM10 and PM2.5). That’s five key measurements, each refreshed every second and viewed by sliding a touch bar on top of the device.
Automated Remediation
The Cube is compatible with smart appliances such as air purifiers, extraction fans and humidifiers via Apple Home. This means you can input pre-set targets to turn on these appliances once, for instance, PM2.5 readings exceed 100 µg/m3, CO2 reaches 800 ppm, or relative humidity falls to under 30%.
Multi-Coloured Indicators
Just like its bigger sister, Ada, the Cube offers 7 color-coded indicators to reflect the condition of each parameter – from blue to indicate pristine, green for normal, yellow and orange for slightly high, and then 3 different reddish shades (bright red, purple, maroon) for increasingly high levels. This broad range allows you to take corrective action in good time.
Tap and Slide to Switch Readings
With a touch bar on the top of the air monitor, you can tap or slide to switch the readings as smoothly as it would be to operate a touch screen. Alternatively, set the Cube to cycle between readings in standby mode.
